Spring 2025 Prayer Brunch

In these words of the Magnificat, Mary proclaimed to Elizabeth her gratitude for the wonderful action of God in her life. Please join us at a brunch for Catholic women of Vancouver where we will share together in that same spirit of gratitude and praise of God. After brunch, there will be a time of prayer for the needs of all present and an opportunity to hear one woman’s experience of the transforming love of Christ in her own life. Please plan to come and bring a friend to rejoice in the presence of the Lord.

Our Speaker: Angela Timmins

“In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.” Luke 1:39-40

Angela Timmins has served Magnificat, as Secretary of the Vancouver, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapter, since 2019. Angela will share her testimony of God’s work in her life and how she developed a devotion to the Virgin Mary. Angela will also share how she experienced a powerful life-changing conversion during a retreat as a teenager.

Angela embodies Magnificat Spirituality in all her endeavors. Luke 1:39-40 inspires Angela to reach out with haste to those who are in need. She currently serves as a lector and volunteers with various ministries at Sacred Heart Parish in Ladner. She taught in the PREP Program for 10 years. She lives in Ladner with her husband of 42 years. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Angela is retired and enjoys keeping a home and garden as well as boating in the Gulf Islands with her husband, Peter.

Cost to attend is $30 (free parking available).

Please pay early to secure your registration spot. Registration is not completed until payment has been received. The registration deadline is May 23rd at noon. We are not able to receive payments at the door.
